2018/03/14: DSkin scores in evaluation of 5 in silico skin penetration models
Cosmetics Europe used 5 in silico skin penetration models to simulate the cutaneous distribution of 24 chemicals applied in PBS. The chemicals varied in molecular weight, lipophilicity, melting point, boiling point, vapor pressure and aqueous solubility. The computational results were compared to the results from ex vivo human skin penetration studies.
